MEET OUR TEACHERS
GALYNA ANNO - BM, BA
Director, Renowned Piano and Vocal Teacher
Galyna is an accomplished pianist and a vocalist who has taught piano and vocals since 1994. Working with singers as an accompanist as well as staging various musical productions were also a large part of her career. She has also had the experience in leading choral groups from 10-1800 people for festival and crusade performances. In addition, she is an expert in working with children and adults in community groups, schools and church ensembles. Galyna graduated from the University of Culture and Performing Arts in Kiev, Ukraine with Bachelor’s degree. She also studied solo piano, theory, harmony, vocal and education at Vinnitsa School of Music and Performing Arts. Galyna instructs in numerous genres including Classicals, Pop, Disney and Musicals. Performs at a variety of Ukrainian, Russia and Polish community events.
DAVID ANNOH JR. - BM
Piano and Drums Teacher
David Annoh Jr. is a highly experienced music teacher, renowned composer and arranger. He is an educator who combines his classical training with well-rounded background in various genres world music, including Ukrainian folk, Pop-culture, Funk, R & B and Gospel music. He is a Royal Conservatory Piano Program graduate, receiving First Class Honors with Distinction in Grade 10 Practical Piano and earned his bachelor’s degree in Music at Canada Christian College. He is currently working towards his A.R.C.T. in performance at RCM. Aside from playing the piano, he is a seasoned studio musician whose work ranges from multiple styles and band arrangement. David performs with his own band at various venues including ceremonies, church gatherings and festivals of all kinds. He loves working with students of all ages and skill levels.
MICHAEL ANNOH - BM
Guitar Teacher
Michael is a passionate guitar teacher and a seasoned performer both on stage and in the studio. He grew up immersed in diverse genres of music such as pop, funk, and Ukrainian folk music and has been playing since the age of nine. He has performed at youth gigs, various community events, as well as music projects in Europe and in Canada. As a teacher, he strives to tailor his music classes according to each student’s specific needs and preferences, with the sole aim of passing on his passion for music to the next generation. In addition, his lessons are fun, dynamic and very engaging, while developing fundamental musicianship skills, which make music lovers of all ages and levels, enjoy his classes so much. Michael holds a bachelor degree in music from Canada Christian College and keeps himself busy playing with his band weekly.
JESSICA ANNOH
Piano and Vocal Teacher
Jessica is an outstanding vocalist who has accomplished tremendous results in the music industry. Over only 6 years of her professional career, Jessica has participated in gigs in Ukraine (Eastern Europe) , the greater Toronto area with bands, local musicians in various musical projects such as Autumn Colors, Jazz Festivals, Music Concerts. Her primary focus is on contemporary music: from rock to pop, to jazz and blues. However, she believes in a holistic approach and uses a blend of classical and contemporary practices in her teaching. In addition, she is great at communicating with people of any age, from children to adults, which allows her to teach at ease and makes her classes fun and enjoyable. Jessica has training in piano, vocal and music theory through Dnipro Music school in Ukraine. Currently she is working towards getting her Bachelor of Music degree at Canada Christian College, majoring in vocals as well as minoring in piano.
